To support the establishment of the "Ocean Affairs Council" by the central government and the related marine policies, the National Kaohsiung University of Science and Technology launched the "The Master of Marine Affairs and Industrial Management" under the School of Management on August 1, 2012, and officially changed to "Institute of Marine Affairs and Business Management " on August 1, 2016. It is expected to advance the marine awareness of faculties and students and deepen the ocean education for fulfilling the goal of safeguarding Taiwan's "Ocean Security” and promoting marine “Industrial Prosperity”.
